About Walter Paul Productions

Walter Paul was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and has lived there all of his life. He gained an interest and passion in theatre, music, and the arts in general from an extremely early age - his first visits to a theatre were to see  performances of The Gondoliers in 1952 and Peter Pan in 1953 - and what started as a hobby, has developed over the years into a dedicated, passionate, and total commitment to acting, singing, and directing, in both the professional and amateur theatre.
He founded Walter Paul Productions and the group Ad Hoc, in 1986, to provide cabaret and musical entertainment in various restaurants, private clubs, and private houses. Over the years the remit of Walter Paul Productions has expanded to provide theatre direction from Walter Paul himself, lecturing, advice and assistance on all things dramatic and theatrical, drama preparation for auditions, appearances on television and radio, quiz hostings, and the continuation of musical entertainment from Ad Hoc, always under the leadership of Walter Paul.
