Some comments received about the two performances of SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM on The Tall Ship in Glasgow, on 29th November and 1st December 2013.

Hi
I just wanted to write and say again how much I enjoyed Side By Side, it was a superb production with a perfect and talented cast. I loved it and I hope you get to perform it again so more people can see it. The production of the year for me.
Congratulations.

Hi Walter
We - David Conway, Helena, and I - were at The Tall Ship last night. What a fabulous show! We thoroughly enjoyed it.  Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves - a lot of hard work and done so professionally. Congratulations to all involved

Congratulations Walter
A truly memorable evening.    Eelanne said at the end "I am so glad we didn't miss that". Everyone sang and acted brilliantly, and your little "local" additions to the script were delightful.
It deserves to be seen by a lot more people.
Cheers,
Doug.

Dear Walter
Thank you for a superb programme of Sondheim songs yesterday evening.  And what a magnificent and versatile team of performers, equally convincing and entertaining in their delivery of pathos, humour and raunchiness, ( is that a word or did I invent it?).
Anyone who has ever attempted to sing Sondheim knows how difficult his music is, not just the complexity of the lyrics but also his rhythm and timing and the fact that the music doesn't go where one would expect, compared with other modern songwriters.  Certainly he composed relatively few hummable tunes!
Last night was a treat.   Thank you.I'll be in touch soon for tickets for Pinafore.
Kind regards
Elisabeth Burns

Dear Walter and David
Congratulations on a superb evening of first class entertainment, loved every moment. I loved the change of tone from sublime to ridiculous. Everyone first class, could not keep my eyes off Kerry Burley, absolutely wonderful! She has such a mobile face.
All the very best for Sunday,
Love to both
Joyce

Hello Walter
Belated congratulations and thanks to everyone involved. We all agreed one of the best night’s entertainment in a long time. One of my guests is fanatical about Sondheim and has seen the best perform his work and was bowled over at the quality of such a highly polished performance, being mindful of how difficult Mr Sondheim’s material can be.
Marvellous, marvellous so it was. Big Ta!
